In the summer months, the Seaside’s  boardwalk — like all the others throughout New Jersey — bustles with couples, kids, families, and people wandering from attraction to attraction.  One could easily kill an hour or two sitting on a bench, watching the diversity of people drift by.  In the off-season, it’s another story.  Much of the place is boarded and shuttered over.  Still, there faint signs of life remain.  Some arcades and pizza parlors stay open all year, no matter how cold and miserable the weather may be.
