Recently, in order to save Casino Hall as a historical landmark, developers bulldozed half of it.  Parts of it, due to years of neglect, had gotten so unstructurally sound, it was fundamentally unsafe.  The roof was a main part of the problem parts of it had already fallen in, and the rest of it was slowly crumbling away.  So much so, that a fenced, boarded-over in walkway was built from door to door.  Eventually, netting went up to catch debris as it fell, but this was long after the “hall” part had met the wrecking ball, I think
